Talent Acquisition Recruiter | Rec2Rec at Capture Outsourcing - Your Trusted Partner For Outsourced Talent Solutions Position: 360Recruitment Consultant (business development included) Experience: Mid-Senior at minimum Sector/Market: Renewable Energy Reports to: Managing Director Purpose of the Role The Senior Recruitment Consultant will take full ownership of client development, candidate sourcing, and delivery within the renewable energy market. They will be the first recruiter and play a key role in establishing the company’s reputation, approach, and results in the market. Initially, the focus will be on wind energy recruitment – both onshore and offshore – with the goal of expanding into solar, battery storage, and wider renewables in year two. Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify, contact, and onboard new clients across the U.S. and U.K. renewable energy sectors, initially focused on wind. Account Management: Build and manage strong relationships with hiring managers and project leads to secure repeat business. Candidate Search & Selection: Source, qualify, and place engineering, construction, and project management professionals. Market Intelligence: Maintain awareness of key projects, operators, and contractors within the renewables sector. Full Recruitment Cycle: Handle everything from job brief to placement, ensuring high standards of service for both clients and candidates. Brand Building: Represent the agency through professional communication, LinkedIn presence, and renewable industry engagement. Candidate Profile Experience Clear business development experience within the Renewable Energy Sector (min 3 years) Clear recruitment experience, ideally in technical or the Renewable Energy Sector (min 5 years) Proven track record of developing new business and billing consistently, ideally in the US or UK. US and UK recruitment experience. Experience managing roles independently from business development through to placement. Strong knowledge of renewables (wind developers, EPCs, OEMs, subcontractors). Ability to build and manage client relationships strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident handling multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Highly driven, commercial, and organised. Personal Qualities Client-focused and results-oriented. Strategic thinker with initiative. Comfortable in a fast-paced, lean startup structure. Summary Has proven renewable energy recruitment experience (especially wind). Wants autonomy and influence in a new, high-trust startup.
