About the team As part of the Global Marketing team within Ninety One, the Investment Marketing Analyst helps develop a wide selection of marketing collateral for the firm. Our team works closely with key business stakeholders to produce relevant marketing materials, bringing creativity, accuracy and professionalism to expressing the Ninety One brand, alongside a keen sense of commercial In this role you will Quality control and analytical oversight of investment and performance-related commentary across various financial periods, ensuring outputs accurately reflect portfolio managers' rationale for investment decisions, portfolio positioning, and the macroeconomic environment Work closely with portfolio managers, client operations, and investment risk & performance to ensure the smooth implementation and timely production of clients' investment reports across the full range of Ninety One's investment capabilities and strategies Interpret portfolio-level data; exposures, attribution, risk metrics, and performance drivers; and ensuring this is properly represented in client-facing systems and reports Support the regulatory reporting process, including report & accounts and manager commentaries, ensuring all outputs meet FCA and other relevant local regulatory requirements Maintain current investment and strategy knowledge by attending relevant internal investment team meetings, engaging directly with portfolio managers, and keeping abreast of industry news, market developments, and economic data releases Proactively identify market events, economic developments, or portfolio-level issues that warrant client updates or reporting adjustments Ongoing monitoring of client group and reporting requirements and associated deadlines to ensure expectations are managed and achieved across institutional, intermediary, and private client audiences Contribute to ad hoc business and team projects, including the continued evolution of AI driven reporting workflows Maintain an in-depth and broad generalist knowledge of internal systems, investment teams, products, asset classes, and processes, attending appropriate internal training where relevant Actively participating as a member of the Investment Marketing Solutions team and the wider global function, contributing to meetings, collaborating, and sharing relevant market and portfolio insight You should consider applying if you have Strong investment knowledge, and interest in economics and the financial markets Analytical mindset to interrogate portfolio data and market developments Good understanding of the asset management business and investment strategies across the major asset classes A solid understanding of portfolio theory and at ease with portfolio-level analysis, including exposures, attribution, risk metrics, and performance drivers Degree educated or equivalent, ideally in economics, finance, or a related quantitative discipline Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage credibly with portfolio managers and other senior investment stakeholders Minimum 2 years financial services experience required; asset management industry preferred Global experience an advantage MS Excel (Intermediate to advanced level) - Proven ability to accurately manipulate, interpret and interrogate multiple sources of quantitative and qualitative data Comfortable with navigating Bloomberg & Factset Some of the attributes we look for in a person are The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships The ability to ‘approach and own’ and continuously look for opportunities to develop Driven by results Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information #J-18808-Ljbffr
