HR intern (Employee Relations, Reward and Recognition, Payroll, Recruitment and Administration) Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of Design, Fitout & Maintenance Operations. Responsible for overseeing project planning, implementation of an entire project through budget management, supplier sourcing, technical design implementation, contractors, planning of project fitout & quality control. Develop goals, establish priorities, deliver strategies & directs shopfitter & vendors on projects at hand. Responsible to prepare paperwork such as site reports, handover reports, letters & project documentation where required & delivered within stipulated timeline. Responsible for preparing, review & approval of bill of quantities, tender evaluation, vendor invoices associated with store build development & maintenance expenditure. Provide daily, weekly & monthly reporting to team members & HQ. Qualification & Experience: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, mechanical, electrical or equivalent. Minimum 3 years of experience in retail fit-out. Has design & technical knowledge and skills in interior design, architectural, engineering or construction related. Has knowledge & skills of layout planning, material selection, detailing & other tasks instructed by superior. Ability to draft in AutoCAD/Sketchup is an added advantage. Able to establish new design/construction guidelines & improve design drawings for MRDIY South Africa. Experience in project coordination or management (retail construction). Able to manage 5-10 projects simultaneously in a month. Able to liaise between mall management, authorities & relevant parties to resolve any problems that may arise during outlet fit-out. Able to work as a team with inter-departments & able to provide detailed reporting to HQ. Able to work in challenging environment, positive and energetic. Able to travel domestically and overseas. Demonstrates strong leadership organizing and communication skills. Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint. Possesses own mode of transportation.
