Career Growth Hospitality Recruitment are looking for an Accountant An exciting opportunity has become available for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join a leading luxury hospitality and lifestyle business. This role is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate financial records while supporting the wider finance team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial administration across multiple functions. Key Responsibilities Capture and reconcile cash books and daily cash-ups Process general ledger transactions and journal entries Manage debtors administration, invoicing, reconciliations, and collections Process creditors invoices, reconciliations, and payment loading Assist with stock administration, invoice capturing, and monthly stocktakes Manage petty cash administration Order centralised goods and supplies Provide general finance and office administration support Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and reporting Requirements Grade 12 qualification Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping (completed or in progress) Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role Fluent in English and Afrikaans Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Experience with Pastel (Sage) Evolution or similar accounting software Previous hospitality, agriculture, or related industry experience will be advantageous Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships across departments Flexible, accountable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities Salary Market Related If you are a dedicated finance professional looking to grow your career within a prestigious and fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
