Description/Synopsis Our client, a successful manufacturing business based in Midrand, has a newly created role available for an Internal Audit & Quality Assurance Officer. This key role ensures the integrity and improvement of all operational and quality management systems within the business. Working with management and cross‑functional colleagues, you’ll implement and enhance internal controls, maintain the QMS, drive audit compliance, and support a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement. Minimum Requirements Diploma or degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Quality Management, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation (or studying towards) an advantage 3–5 years’ relevant experience in internal audit and quality assurance Experience in the manufacturing/production industry essential Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, ISO standards, risk management, and TOC (Theory of Constraints) Strong process‑driven approach and exposure to manufacturing environments Responsibilities Develop, document, and manage internal controls across key functions (sales, procurement, stock, HR, production, assets, cash) Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring all procedures and documents remain current and compliant Conduct scheduled audits (operational, financial, quality), document findings, and ensure improvement measures are implemented Support the identification of process owners, accountability, and good governance Manage non‑conformance reports and corrective action processes Regulatory compliance according to industry standards Soft Skills / Additional Info Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement High attention to detail and organisational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
