KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in setting up and operating CNC machines under supervision Load materials, set tooling, and support machine preparation Follow CAD drawings and basic toolpath instructions Monitor machine operation and report any issues or errors Assist with finishing, quality checks, and basic measurements Support maintenance, cleaning, and general workshop duties Learn machine processes, tooling, and production workflows Work closely with senior operators and production team SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS 1–2 years’ CNC operating or manufacturing experience (advantageous) Basic understanding of CNC machines and workshop processes Ability to read simple technical drawings (advantageous) Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude Ability to work in a team environment Interest in woodworking, manufacturing, or precision machining Valid South African ID or work permit WHAT’S ON OFFER Opportunity to grow into advanced CNC machining skills Exposure to high-end furniture manufacturing environment Hands‑on training and mentorship from experienced operators Stable, full‑time role in a specialist studio #J-18808-Ljbffr
