Key Responsibilities: Oversee end‑to‑end import processes for groupage shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and delivery. Receive and process pre‑alert documentation (MAWB, HAWB, invoices, packing lists, manifests, freight invoices). Register files on logistics systems and ensure accurate data capture. Coordinate with clients to obtain shipping instructions and provide updates. Prepare and submit documentation required for customs clearance to brokerage partners. Manage transport arrangements, including pick‑up and delivery documentation, EDI releases, SAD500, and proof of delivery. Prepare draft invoices, verify charges, and finalize billing in line with company procedures. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws. Build and manage strong client relationships, providing proactive communication and problem‑solving. Minimum Requirements: 35 years experience in seafreight imports, with a focus on groupages. Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures and international trade regulations. Proficiency in logistics systems (Pegasus, CargoWise, Shipshape or similar). Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and adapt to unforeseen challenges. Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
