Senior Production Planner A multi-national automotive manufacturer is looking for an enthusiastic, assertive, and analytical thinker to take up the Senior Production Planner position that will assist the Materials planning and Logistics Manager with various planning and continuous improvement duties. Requirements: National Diploma or B.Tech Degree in Logistics/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering is required Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous MRP system experience is essential Min 5 years experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is required Production Planning knowledge would be advantageous Good understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 and IATF 16949 elements Responsibilities: Day to day production planning and input onto the MRP system Plan and schedule workflow for all departments Analyse production specification and plan capacity Preparation of production reports Monitor production plan execution and track production performances Assist in continuous improvement projects Ability to work under pressure.
