Location: Cape Town (Hybrid / On-site depending on team requirements) About the Role You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions across SQL Server and Azure-based technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle — from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and analytics — while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions in a dynamic agile environment. What You’ll Be Doing Developing and optimising high-quality SQL code and database solutions Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory Supporting and enhancing existing data workflows and reporting systems Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions Ensuring data integrity, validation, and reliability across systems Working within an Agile SDLC environment Troubleshooting and improving production data processes What You Bring 5–10 years’ experience in SQL development, database engineering, and Microsoft data technologies Strong hands-on experience with: SQL Server (2016 or newer) SSIS, SSRS, SSAS Azure Data Factory Azure DevOps & CI/CD pipelines Solid Power BI experience (reports, dashboards, semantic models) Strong understanding of SDLC and agile delivery environments Experience with data troubleshooting, optimisation, and performance tuning Strong scripting ability (advantageous) Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) Microsoft Fabric Logic Apps / PowerApps Advanced scripting (Python / PowerShell) #J-18808-Ljbffr
