Job Description The Truck Workshop department currently has a vacancy for a detail-oriented, process-driven, dedicated individual to join their team. This position requires someone who is able to work in a fast paced, demanding and pressurized environment. Our comprehensive in-house technical facilities, staffed by Qualified Engineers and Artisans, are responsible for our fleet and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, inspecting, repairing and maintaining our fleet and equipment. Responsibilities Quality control Attending breakdowns Troubleshooting fleet breakdowns Do planned and unplanned maintenance on the fleet Qualifying Experience A Red Seal Diesel Mechanic Qualification Minimum of 5 years post qualification working experience Experience in truck and trailer maintenance Experience on plant machinery will be an advantage Experience in Volvo and UD trucks will be an advantage Have a valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle Qualifying Attributes Ability to work in challenging conditions Ability to work under pressure Ability to communicate on all levels Be deadline driven Ability to work independently and in a team Have a valid code 8 driver’s license and a reliable motor vehicle #J-18808-Ljbffr
