Permanent - Financial Manager - Cape Town - South Africa Oversee general ledger and reconciliations Manage accounts payable and receivable Monitor company cash flow and liquidity Budgeting & Forecasting Develop annual budgets Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses Compliance & Tax Ensure compliance with: IFRS / IFRS for SMEs SARS requirements VAT, PAYE, and Income Tax submissions Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants Asset & Fleet Finance Management Manage asset registers Calculate depreciation and wear-and-tear allowances Monitor financed assets and lease obligations Analyse vehicle profitability and lifecycle costs Reporting Produce: Monthly financial reports Cash flow reports KPI analysis Present financial performance to directors or shareholders Internal Controls & Risk Implement financial controls and procedures Reduce financial and operational risks Team Management Supervise finance staff Train and develop finance personnel Conduct performance evaluations Inherent Requirements Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with accounting systems such as: Sage Xero Pastel QuickBooks SAP Strong understanding of: Financial modelling Cost accounting Deferred tax calculations Asset financing structures Lease accounting Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional qualification advantageous: CA(SA) CIMA ACCA SAIPA Valid driver’s licence (if operational travel is required) Experience Requirements Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in finance/accounting At least 3 years in a management role Experience in: Financial reporting Budgeting and forecasting Tax compliance Cash flow management Audit preparation Payroll oversight Financial analysis Industry experience in fleet management, vehicle rental, logistics, or asset-based businesses advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
