Automation Tester (Cross‑Border Payments) We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong domain knowledge in Cross‑Border Payments to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of international payment systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for cross‑border payment applications Perform functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end testing of payment flows Validate cross‑border payment processes including SWIFT, ISO 20022 messages, FX, settlement, and reconciliation Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand requirements and test scenarios Execute automated and manual tests and analyze test results Identify, log, and track defects through to closure Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards related to international payments Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks Improve test coverage and testing efficiency continuously Required Skills & Qualifications 6+ years of experience in Automation Testing Strong experience in Cross‑Border Payments / International Payments domain Knowledge of payment systems such as: SWIFT (MT / MX messages) ISO 20022 Correspondent Banking FX rates, settlement, and reconciliation Hands‑on experience with automation tools such as: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar API automation (RestAssured, Postman, SOAP UI) Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.) Experience testing REST/SOAP APIs Familiarity with SQL and database validation Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Quality Assurance Location Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa #J-18808-Ljbffr
