Youll be the go-to technical authority solving complex breakdowns, improving maintenance standards, and mentoring teams to operate at elite level.Education: N4 or N6 in Mechanical Engineering Relevant Trade Test Job Experience & Skills Required: Minimum 10 years post-apprenticeship experience Strong experience in FMCG / converting or manufacturing environments Advanced fault-finding on mechanical systems and drives Experience with high-speed production or packaging machinery Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis capability Key Responsibilities: Perform advanced mechanical diagnostics and breakdown repairs Execute preventative maintenance to improve reliability Reduce downtime and improve maintenance quality standards Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective actions Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards Manage equipment risk profiles and spare parts availability Mentor and develop technical teams
