Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome patients, manage appointments, and maintain daily scheduling systems.Perform patient check-in and assist with medical aid verification and billing.Guide patients through frame and lens selection based on prescription and lifestyle needs.Dispense and fit glasses and contact lenses as per the Optometrist’s prescription.Manage till point, daily cash-up, and retail stock administration.Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and follow-up communications.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and retail area.Support basic lens ordering processes and communication with suppliers.Assist with patient recalls, marketing efforts, and practice promotions.Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and compliance with POPIA.
