Role: Paid Media Strategist - Creative & Performance ⚠️ Important - Location : This role is remote but open ONLY to candidates based in Latin America, Eastern Europe, or South Africa . Who We Are: Apex Digital runs paid ads that generate revenue for its clients - Crazy idea, we know. We don’t sell “cheap leads.” We build systems that turn ad dollars into profit. Most of our clients are in the mortgage and finance niche. The Opportunity: We’re hiring a Paid Media Strategist to own the full creative + performance cycle - from ideas and hooks to testing, iteration, and scaling. You’ll work hands-on across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube (TikTok/YouTube experience is a strong plus), turning performance data into better ads. This role blends creative thinking with data-driven execution. You’ll write copy, analyze results in Ads Manager, and collaborate with editors - all with one goal: make the next ad outperform the last. The Role: You own the full paid-ads creative flywheel - from ideation and scripting to testing and scaling ads. You’ll source video footage (from UGC platforms or internal sources), collaborate with video editors, analyze performance, and build systems that make great ads repeatable. If you’re a paid ads creative rockstar, know how to spot what converts before others do, and can turn performance insights into repeatable systems, you’ll thrive here. What You’ll Do: Develop fresh ad concepts, hooks, and scripts based on performance data. Write copy for ads, landing pages, and VSLs that actually sell. Collaborate with editors to create fast, clean iterations. Launch and optimize campaigns directly inside Ads Manager (Meta, TikTok, YouTube). Analyze performance, identify trends, and decide what to test next. Use AI tools to brainstorm, test, and optimize faster. Understand funnels and conversion strategy (lead gen, eCom, CRO, storytelling). Build repeatable systems to make creative testing faster and smarter. Requirements: 3+ years running or creating for performance-based ad accounts (lead gen preferred). Experience working in a performance marketing or creative agency is highly preferred. Strong understanding of how creative impacts metrics - CTR, CPL, ROAS. Proven experience crafting ad briefs (scripts, copy, and visuals) that turn into high-performing campaigns. Able to edit short-form videos and create simple static ads when needed. Strong experience with Meta, TikTok or YouTube Ads. Familiar with AI tools (ChatGPT, OpusClip, Veo, Runway, Nano Banana, etc.). Deep understanding of funnels, copywriting, and CRO. You move fast, own your results, and let data guide your decisions. You have a clear, proven process for testing and scaling ad creatives. Strong English communication + understanding of North American consumer psychology Compensation: Base + commission - (OTE CAD $40K–$60K (Canadian) annually, approx. USD $30K–$45K), based on experience and performance.
