Our client in the Mining / Construction Materials industry is seeking a Temporary Accountant to join their team in the Western Cape. This short-term contract is ideal for a hands-on professional who can step in and provide immediate financial support. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly management accounts Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations Maintain and reconcile the general ledger Assist with VAT calculations and submissions Support financial reporting and compliance requirements Assist with audit preparation and queries Monitor cash flow and support financial controls Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting or relevant qualification Completed articles (SAIPA/SAICA advantageous) Minimum 35 years accounting experience Strong knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliations Advanced Excel skills Immediately available Contract Details: Fixed-term contract (23 months) Immediate start preferred
