Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision Ability to multitask and work under pressure Strong decision‑making and time‑management skills Flexible and adaptable to operational demands Reliable with own transport Experience managing teams, including industrial relations (IR) matters Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems Key Responsibilities Support and assist the Cold Store Manager in daily operations Supervise and manage staff workloads across multiple teams Oversee cold chain management and stock integrity Ensure accurate stock allocation, picking, loading, and dispatch processes Verify product condition, quantities, and documentation accuracy Manage warehouse management system (WMS) / SAP processes and stock control Ensure all sales orders and returns are processed correctly Monitor and resolve operational issues and problem orders Coordinate with logistics, production, trading, and other departments Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and housekeeping standards Oversee loading and offloading of containers according to procedures and schedules Ensure quality control checks are completed for incoming and outgoing goods Report equipment breakdowns and operational risks to maintenance Maintain accurate shift reports (damages, shortages, expired stock, etc.) Ensure damaged stock is reprocessed and returned to inventory where applicable Enforce SOP compliance across all teams and processes Qualifications & Skills Matric (Grade 12) Qualification in Logistics or Warehouse Management (advantageous) Computer literate (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office) Experience with SAP or similar ERP system (preferred) Experience Required 6–7 years’ relevant warehouse / cold storage / logistics experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
