Job Overview Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Social Media Manager will oversee all yesHEis global social media platforms and lead the creation of content adaptable for local markets. This role is pivotal in building a consistent, unified brand presence while engaging and activating our digital community across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp, YouTube, and emerging platforms. You will lead a distributed team of social media specialists, providing clear strategy, campaign leadership, and creative direction. With a passion for evangelism and digital excellence, you will drive meaningful engagement, inspire faith-sharing, and extend our global reach through strategic collaborations. By focusing primarily on organic marketing, you will ensure that our online presence effectively connects with our target audience, leading them deeper into the full yesHEis ecosystem. Specific Responsibilities Lead, evaluate, and optimise the performance of all social media activity, ensuring growth, engagement, and successful conversion into the yesHEis ecosystem in line with goals set by the Marketing Manager. Collaborate with Content and Localisation teams to ensure brand voice, theological alignment, and content quality across channels. Lead and manage a global team of Social Media Specialists to develop and execute platform strategies to grow reach, engagement, and evangelistic outcomes. Oversee scheduling, posting, monitoring, and engagement to ensure timely delivery and responsiveness to trends and current affairs. Evaluate team performance, allocate resources, and adapt to campaign needs and priorities. Encourage and motivate the team to support Market Specialists with clear platform strategy, content direction, campaign execution, and platform guidance. Work alongside your team of Social Media Specialists to provide best practices, training, and troubleshooting support to the localisation team to strengthen local engagement. Oversee the creation of campaign briefs, baseline content, and adaptable assets for localisation. Collaborate with the greater Marketing team in their efforts on paid marketing. Develop and implement a global influencer strategy that strengthens brand alignment, expands reach, and connects with the target audience in key markets. Collaborate with the Marketing Project Manager to ensure timely rollout to global markets. As part of a global organisation, you will be required to collaborate across time zones, which may require out-of-hours availability from time to time. A practising Christian in full agreement with the CV Statement of Faith Actively involved in a local church or Christian faith community Committed to living according to biblical values Skills / Experience / Education Minimum 3+ years managing social media accounts and strategy across global markets. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Communications, Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Experience in strategic oversight and team leadership. Demonstrated success in growing and engaging digital communities with clear conversion outcomes across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and WhatsApp. Strong understanding of campaign development, content planning, and audience engagement tactics. Experience leading remote or decentralised teams in cross-cultural settings. Competency with analytics and scheduling tools. Background in missions, ministry, or working into Christian markets. Experience supporting content localisation and multilingual rollout strategies. Familiarity with content creation software Deep alignment with CV’s evangelistic mission and values.
