Location: Johannesburg (Office-based) Role Overview: Reporting to the Group Financial Director, you will support group-wide financial reporting, compliance, and strategic finance initiatives. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and collaboration across multiple business units, contributing to strong financial governance and performance.Key Responsibilities: Support the preparation of consolidated financial reporting under IFRS and US GAAP Assist with regulatory reporting, including external disclosures and filings Contribute to monthly reporting processes and financial control activities Partner with group and international finance teams on technical accounting matters Assist with tax compliance and group-wide finance workstreams Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives Support the implementation and maintenance of SOX-compliant financial processes Participate in internal control design, testing, and remediation Ensure robust documentation and that audit trails are maintained Support group budgeting and forecasting processes Work closely with FP&A and divisional finance teams on consolidated planning Contribute to finance transformation and system improvement projects Support group-level strategic initiatives and organisational projects Requirements: CA(SA) or equivalent qualification 35 years post-qualification experience Experience in a SOX-regulated environment advantageous Exposure to US GAAP and/or IFRS reporting Exposure to fintech, SaaS, banking, or digital environments preferred Key Competencies: Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Highly analytical with strong problem-solving ability Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset Apply now!
