Civil Engineering Technologist / Engineer Zeal HR (Pty) Ltd – Durbanville Our client in Durbanville is looking for a detail‑driven Civil Engineering Technologist or Engineer with a passion for designing smarter, sustainable solutions. This role places you at the forefront of large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary projects that truly impact communities. Responsibilities Design civil services for municipal, commercial and industrial developments, including preparation of relevant documentation and contract administration/monitoring. Produce technical deliverables for the design and implementation of roads, stormwater services, sewer services, water services, ducting services and bulk earthworks. Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical project specifications in line with relevant SANS codes. Conduct site inspections and lead site meetings. Prepare as‑built drawings and close‑out reports. Develop innovative and cost‑effective solutions to problems/challenges. Interact with clients. Requirements B. Eng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Non‑negotiable). Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Engineer or Technologist or be eligible to register within the next 12 months. Minimum 5–10 years with specific municipal infrastructure design and building environment experience (pre‑requisite). Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects. Competent with Civil Designer and AutoCAD. Good communication and people skills. Honest, loyal, responsible & self‑motivated. Detail oriented. Capacity to work under pressure. Team‑player. Organised.
