Job Summary A manufacturing company based in Germiston is seeking a skilled Milling & Turning Machinist with experience in conventional and/or CNC machining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing precision-engineered components according to technical drawings and production requirements.Duties & Responsibilities Operate milling and turning machines safely and efficiently Set up machines and tooling according to job specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Manufacture components according to required tolerances and measurements Perform machine adjustments when necessary Conduct basic maintenance and housekeeping on machines Ensure quality workmanship and production targets are achieved Measure completed components using precision measuring instruments Work according to health and safety regulations Report machine faults and production issues to management Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Minimum 3-5 years experience in milling and turning Experience in conventional and/or CNC machining Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Knowledge of measuring equipment and machining tolerances Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and within a team Good problem-solving skills Preferred Experience: CNC Milling and CNC Turning experience advantageousTrade Test qualification advantageousExperience within an engineering or manufacturing environmentSalary: Market-related salary based on experience and qualifications
