As an Internal Sales Consultant, you are responsible for client retention, account growth, and transactional revenue through once‑off sales, renewals, upgrades, and project opportunities. You play a critical role in ensuring clients remain satisfied while continuously identifying ways to increase value and strengthen long‑term relationships. This is a commercially focused, client‑facing role for someone who is proactive, detail‑oriented, and confident in managing both relationships and revenue. Your success will be measured by retention, revenue contribution, and consistency in execution. Your First 90 Days You have built strong, trusted relationships with your assigned client base. You are consistently identifying and closing once‑off sales and upgrade opportunities. You are maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and responsiveness. You are managing renewals and sales administration accurately and on time. You are maintaining clean and up‑to‑date CRM records in Zoho. You are contributing to MRR growth through structured upsell and cross‑sell activity. Targets and Performance Measures This role has clear revenue, retention, and operational performance expectations. You will be measured on your ability to protect existing revenue, grow accounts through structured sales activity, and maintain high standards of execution across all client and sales processes. Key performance indicators include: SLA upgrades and uplift on existing accounts. Monthly recurring revenue contribution aligned to account growth. Client retention and satisfaction levels (target ≥95%). Referral generation from satisfied clients. Completion and conversion of IT assessments into projects. CRM hygiene, process compliance, and task completion standards. Response times, client engagement levels, and overall service delivery. Key Responsibilities 1) Client Retention and Relationship Management You will be responsible for maintaining strong, long‑term relationships with your client base. Building trust and maintaining regular communication with clients. Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. Acting as a reliable point of contact for client queries and support. Identifying risks early and resolving issues proactively. 2) Sales Delivery and Account Growth You will drive revenue growth through structured sales activity within existing accounts. Identifying and closing once‑off sales opportunities. Driving SLA upgrades and account expansion opportunities. Supporting cross‑selling of products, services, and solutions. Managing renewals across licensing, security, backups, and related services. 3) IT Assessments and Project Conversion You will support the delivery and commercial conversion of technical assessments. Ensuring all scheduled IT assessments are completed. Supporting the conversion of assessments into projects. Working with internal teams to move opportunities into delivery. Maintaining momentum from assessment to commercial outcome. 4) Sales Administration and CRM Discipline You will ensure that all sales activity is accurately captured and processed. Maintaining high levels of CRM hygiene in Zoho CRM. Preparing and managing quotes, orders, and invoicing accurately. Submitting structured weekly scorecards and reporting. Ensuring all tasks are completed within defined timelines. 5) Collaboration and Team Support You will work closely with internal teams to support account success. Supporting the Lead Account Manager in client reviews and meetings. Sharing client feedback with sales and marketing teams. Collaborating with technical teams to support client needs. Providing support and guidance to junior team members where required. 6) Supplier and Operational Coordination You will support commercial outcomes through supplier and operational alignment. Managing supplier relationships and pricing where required. Ensuring accurate product and service delivery through coordination. Supporting stock tracking and sales‑related audits. Maintaining structured internal processes and documentation. Non‑Negotiables This role requires strong client management and execution discipline.
