Key Responsibilities (KPAs) Project & Operations Management Oversee and manage construction projects from initiation to completion Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment Conduct regular site visits and progress evaluations Leadership & Team Management Lead, manage, and develop technical teams Ensure effective resource allocation for project execution Drive productivity and operational efficiency Financial & Commercial Management Prepare and manage project budgets and cost control Approve invoices, purchase orders, and payment schedules Manage subcontractor agreements, rates, and contracts Planning & Reporting Coordinate weekly:Meetings Procurement Revenue and cost tracking Compile and submit reports to the Operations Director Conduct weekly reviews on progress, budget, and forward planning Compliance, Quality & Safety Work closely with SHEQ to enforce safety standards and procedures Ensure all quality assurance tests are conducted on time Oversee compliance with project specifications and regulations Stakeholder & Contract Management Manage stakeholder communication and reporting Chair internal and external project meetings Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping Handle contract initiation and completion certifications Design & Technical Oversight Ensure timely delivery of temporary and permanent designs Address technical and resource challenges effectively Minimum Requirements BTech / BSc in Civil Engineering Registered with Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as:Professional Civil Engineer / Technologist / TechnicianOR Registered with South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as:Professional Construction Project Manager / Construction Manager Minimum 10 years’ experience in civil infrastructure projects:Roads Stormwater Bulk pipelines Water & sewer reticulation Concrete works Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (advantageous) Key Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making skills Excellent project planning and organisational ability Financial and commercial acumen Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking #J-18808-Ljbffr
