Responsibilities Analysing large data sets and management reports to monitor performance, identify risks, and close control gaps Reconciling and synchronising data across billing, banking, and operational systems to ensure accuracy and integrity Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely, accurate month‑end billing close and reporting Representing the department in IT and project forums, escalating system issues and driving resolution Developing and monitoring robust governance, risk, and control frameworks Leading or contributing to process design, system enhancements, and IT‑driven initiatives Implementing monthly billing and collections strategies to improve cash flow and recovery rates Presenting insights, risks, and performance results to senior and executive leadership Resolving operational issues and implementing mitigation and corrective action plans Skills & Experience Proven experience as an Operations Manager within insurance environments Exposure to IFRS17 Strong knowledge of insurance billing, debit orders, digital collections and DebiCheck Advanced MS Excel skills with strong reporting and data analysis capability (QlikView/SQL or similar) Project management experience including managing IT and systems‑related projects Stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a deadline‑driven environment Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving skills Qualifications B.Com Accounting (or similar) CA (SA) #J-18808-Ljbffr
