Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd Registration No. 2022/ /07 Job Advert Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and cooking of daily meals according to the menu. Ensure that food is prepared, handled, and served in line with food safety requirements. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas. Assist with portion control to minimise wastage. Support the Chef and kitchen team with daily food production. Ensure that kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly. Assist with receiving, packing, and rotating stock when required. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures. Report shortages, damaged stock, or equipment issues to the relevant supervisor. Assist with ad-hoc food service duties as and when required. Experience & Qualification Matric will be advantageous. Relevant cooking or food preparation training will be advantageous. 12 years experience working in a canteen, kitchen, catering, or food service environment. Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and portion control First Aid / Fire Fighting / OHS qualifications will be an added advantage.
