Key Responsibilities: Minimise truck turnaround time and ensure adherence to loading/offloading schedules Direct and control vehicle movements in and out of the yard, including staging and parking zones Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organisation Ensure vehicles are prepared and trailers inspected according to SOP before loading Liaise with drivers, operations teams, and management to resolve issues quickly Manage weighbridge procedures, gate systems, and accurate documentation of vehicle movements Enforce safety rules and conduct daily inspections, ensuring compliance with SOPs Lead and coach the yard team, encouraging continuous improvement and adherence to processes Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric); further studies in Transport/Logistics advantageous Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a warehousing/logistics environment Proven team management and Health & Safety programme experience Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace) Valid drivers licence Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong leadership and operational skills to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic logistics setting.
