An established company based in the Northern Suburbs is looking for an Accountant with a BCom degree and a minimum of 5 years financial reporting experience to join their team. The role includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing General Ledger journals, performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, preparing and submitting VAT reconciliations to SARS, reviewing employee reimbursements, tracking credit card spend, analysing GL accounts, maintaining GL codes, and publishing accurate monthly management accounts. Additional duties include inputting weekly forex rates, assisting with ad‑hoc finance tasks such as budget uploads Candidates must have strong reconciliation skills, IFRS knowledge, analytical ability, problem‑solving skills, solid financial acumen, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, along with good planning, organisation, communication, and teamwork.
