Job Overview We are currently seeking a reliable and responsible Company Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. As a Company Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and personnel to various locations in and around Durban. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods and personnel to designated locations Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods Perform routine vehicle maintenance and keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition Adhere to all traffic rules and regulations and maintain a good driving record Report any vehicle malfunctions or accidents immediately to the supervisor Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups Communicate effectively with the dispatch team to ensure smooth operations Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Company Driver Good knowledge of Durban and surrounding areas Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to lift and move heavy objects if required Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting Good knowledge of traffic rules and regulations Working Conditions This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The Company Driver will be required to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate the needs of the business.
