Minimum Requirements:- BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering- 3 to 6 years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer- Strong experience in full product design lifecycle- Experience with:o Autodesk Inventoro ANSYSo FEA (Finite Element Analysis)o MATLAB- Experience producing manufacturing and production-ready drawings- Ability to work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and production teams- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing processes- Defence, aerospace, military, heavy engineering, or advanced manufacturing industry experience will be highly advantageousKey Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical products and components from concept through to production- Generate 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings- Perform simulations, stress analysis, and FEA calculations- Support prototype development and testing- Liaise with production and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility- Conduct engineering calculations and design validations- Assist with continuous product improvement and optimisation- Ensure compliance with engineering and quality standardsIdeal Candidate:- Hands-on and technically strong- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving ability- Able to work under pressure and within project deadlines- Passionate about innovation, engineering, and product development
