Questions that should be asked before appointing an attorney. SD Law is recruiting a candidate attorney for practical vocational training in a specialist, high-standard South African law firm. This is not a passive articles position. The successful candidate will be trained in real legal work under supervision: consultations, legal research, drafting, court preparation, client communication, file discipline, matter progression and the commercial realities of running a modern legal practice. We are looking for a candidate who wants to become an excellent attorney, not merely complete articles. The right person will be intellectually strong, emotionally intelligent, calm under pressure, commercially aware, coachable and serious about building a long-term career at SD Law.
