SAFETY OFFICER – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ? Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal ? Full-Time Position Key Responsibilities:• Monitor and enforce health & safety compliance on-site• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations• Ensure compliance with OHSA regulations and company safety policies• Maintain accurate safety documentation, records, and reports• Facilitate toolbox talks and health & safety training sessions• Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective actions• Promote a safe and compliant working environment Minimum Requirements:• Relevant Health & Safety qualification• SAMTRAC or equivalent certification advantageous• Previous experience as a Safety Officer within construction or related industries• Strong knowledge of OHSA and health & safety legislation• Excellent communication, reporting, and administrative skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment• Must be immediately available Required Skills:• Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification• Incident Investigation• OHSA Compliance• Safety Auditing & Inspections• Health & Safety Reporting• Toolbox Talks & Safety Training
