Responsibilities: Prepare annual financial statements for trusts, companies, and sole proprietors Perform monthly bookkeeping and processing on Xero Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Manage SARS eFiling for a portfolio of clients Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns Liaise with SARS on queries and submissions Process payroll and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, UIF, SDL) Assist with basic audit and independent review work Prepare working papers and supporting documentation Communicate with clients and resolve queries Build and maintain strong client relationships Requirements: Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles (essential) Relevant accounting qualification (completed or well progressed) Experience within an accounting or auditing firm Working knowledge of Xero (advantageous) Strong understanding of SARS eFiling and tax submissions
