KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Plan, prepare and present engaging Commerce lessons. Teach in a secondary environment. Establish a nurturing teaching environment that promotes engaged learning. Maintain professional standards, punctuality, and quality of work and students' homework. Evaluate, reflect on and refine teaching practice. C continually develop teaching through professional development. Teach extra lessons or extra‑mural activities, when required, on two afternoons per week. Produce high‑standard resources for students. Respond to e‑mails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours. Show loyalty to all facets of Reddam House. Set and mark assessment and all other forms of student evaluation. Write report comments. Be willing to organise / attend camps as per school requirements. Be available for regional and national conferences or other training as required. Undertake any other reasonable tasks as determined by the School Head or line manager. IDEAL CANDIDATE Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification. Be registered with SACE. Show proven excellence in teaching commerce subjects. Maintain a strong connection with teenagers. Be energetic and proactive. Exhibit strong communication skills. Enjoy supporting and contributing to team success. Live with high standards and seek consistent improvement over time. Have excellent administrative skills and a keen attention to detail.
