Our client a dynamic and vibrant player in South Africa’sfinancial services industry is looking for an experienced Payroll Consultant tojoin their remarkable team. As a member of the team, the primary focus of this role willbe to facilitate payroll administration and input on Sage 300. Qualifications and experience Relevant tertiary qualification; a payrollqualification beneficial Sage 300 experience essential (at least 2-4years with current work output) Weekly payroll processing Payroll control account recon experience (atleast 2 -3 years witch current work output) Duties & Responsibilities Create new and terminate employees on Sage 300 Update bank details, tax directive details andcost centre changes on Sage 300 Gather all payroll input by following a clearlydefined Activity Work Instruction Calculate monthly group life contributions andsubmission of calc. sheet to reinsurer Facilitate payment to 3rd parties for group lifeand group retirement annuity schemes Input monthly incentive scores, commission,variable travel allowances, overtime, standby and reimbursements (via CSVimport into Sage 300) Create ESS logins and approve submissions (asadministrator) received for reimbursement, Overtime and standby claims, personal detailchanges and leave applications Exporting monthly payment files from Sage 300 tobanking platform Submit monthly EMP returns on efiling Submit monthly UIF declarations to department oflabour Submit annual COID return Complete validations in advance of annual easyfile submission for IRP5’s (and six-monthly reconciliation) Address payroll related queries and requestsfrom employees Analyse payroll problems and provide appropriatesolutions Work closely with the relevant Human Resourceand Finance teams to carry out payroll weekly processing and month endprocessing Run Sage 300 reports and complete weekly andmonthly tasks by following a clearly defined Activity Work Instruction andchecklist Compile weekly and month end information toshare with Finance, by a specific deadline date, in line with a clearly definedActivity Work Instruction (Finance will post relevant journals on Pastel) Complete weekly and monthly payroll controlaccount recons (Finance will post relevant journals on Paste Skills PC literate and have working experience with MSOffice – Excel must be at an intermediate level Ability to work under pressure -high-performance environment and may sometimes demand long hours from you Excellent verbal and written communicationskills Ability to keep confidential information toyourself Organized and have the right administrativeskills Quality driven Ability to pay attention to detail (accuracy isimportant) Ability to work effectively with others andcontribute to the team’s accomplishment Ability to operate effectively under pressure Task and deadline orientated Strong sense of ownership and like to keep yourline manager in the loop on your work outputs and deadlines Ability to manage your own time and prioritizeyour work outputs if needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
