As an electrical power project manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of electrical power projects helping customers use SEL products and engineering talent to make the grid safer, more reliable, and more efficient. Responsibilities Lead project lifecycle from proposal development to project closeout and handle all aspects of the business. Track and stabilize projects, implement solutions for obstacles, and anticipate customer needs. Assist in creating, designing, configuring, validating, installing, commissioning, and operating automation and protection systems. Assign, complete, and implement work within the agreed scope, schedule, and budget, delivering high quality and safety. Identify, prepare, and present successful proposals for SEL equipment, services, and systems. Mentor and develop professional staff and supervise as necessary. Model, teach, and apply SEL values, principles of operations, and world‑class manufacturing principles. Qualifications B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years of relevant application experience with electric power systems and industry practices. Proven experience in project management, particularly in electrical power projects. Knowledge of electrical power systems, equipment, and industry standards. Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, strategic, and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
