Requirements Matric certificate or equivalent plus a suitable M+3 qualification (National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Relevant teaching qualification with at least one year lecturing experience in Mechanical Engineering N1 to N6. Relevant Trade Test Certificate in the respective trade. Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). SACE registration. Assessor/moderator qualification – an added advantage. Knowledge of legislation governing the sector. Duties Conduct classes on the above mentioned subjects. Organise relevant curricular activities to ensure proper learning experience. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with issuing and retrieving textbooks, equipment management. Organise experiential training for students. Report and account for student performance in the programmes. Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within teaching and learning.
