Reunyte is looking for a senior industry professional to help accelerate the resolution of unclaimed benefits across South Africa’s retirement fund ecosystem. This role is designed for someone who understands the pension administration landscape deeply and has the credibility, relationships, and persistence to influence institutions to act. At its core, this is a business development and industry engagement role focused on unlocking participation from the institutions that hold unclaimed benefit assets. You will work directly with pension funds, administrators, trustees and other industry stakeholders to challenge the status quo, reshape thinking around unclaimed benefits, and drive adoption of new approaches that enable large-scale resolution. The Reunyte’s internal team supports onboarding and implementation processes, your primary focus will be engaging the industry, building conviction, and unlocking institutional participation . Ideal Candidate Profile Deep experience within the pension administration or retirement fund industry Strong relationships across funds, trustees and administrators Commercially minded with experience in business development and strategic partnerships Persistent, proactive and able to drive momentum across complex institutional environments Motivated by the opportunity to influence industry change at scale Key Responsibilities 1. Institutional Activation & Business Development Identify and engage institutions that hold significant unclaimed benefit assets Drive participation from funds and administrators by building trust in the Reunyte model Challenge existing thinking & encourage innovative approaches to resolve unclaimed benefits This role requires a tenacious and proactive approach to industry engagement, with a focus on unlocking opportunities that deliver meaningful outcomes at scale. 2. Industry Transformation & Thought Leadership Act as an advocate for transforming how the industry approaches unclaimed benefits Help shift industry thinking toward more effective and scalable solutions Contribute to shaping the broader narrative around unclaimed benefit resolution in South Africa 3.
