We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team involved in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power systems, substations, switchgear, and power plant infrastructure.Key Responsibilities: Assist with the design and engineering of MV and HV substations. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and control systems. Participate in power system studies, load calculations, fault analysis, and protection coordination. Conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and condition assessments. Assist with preparation of electrical drawings, specifications, reports, and technical documentation. Support troubleshooting and maintenance activities on electrical distribution systems. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards. Minimum Requirements: BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical Engineering. 03 years of relevant experience in power systems, substations, switchgear, or power generation. Knowledge of electrical distribution systems, transformers, protection systems, and motor control centres. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites. Advantageous: Exposure to Eskom, municipal, mining, industrial, or utility projects. Familiarity with power system software and protection relays.
