Key Responsibilities Lead the Engineering, Maintenance, and Toolroom functions Drive engineering governance, technical standards, and reliability systems Support manufacturing operations through strong engineering leadership Oversee asset care, maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives Manage CAPEX projects and engineering improvement programmes Ensure effective manufacturing support engineering and technical problem-solving Lead and develop engineering managers, maintenance teams, and technical staff Maintain strong integration between product engineering, manufacturing processes, tooling, and production support Drive operational uptime, engineering efficiency, and technical compliance Minimum Requirements BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline 10–15 years’ manufacturing experience within discrete manufacturing environments Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering leadership role Proven leadership of engineering managers, maintenance managers, and multidisciplinary technical teams Strong understanding of: Manufacturing engineering Reliability and maintenance systems Engineering governance BOM management CAPEX execution Production support engineering Experience within one or more of the following environments: Automotive manufacturing Defence manufacturing Precision engineering Heavy fabrication Industrial equipment manufacturing Engineered products manufacturing Strong factory-floor presence and practical leadership capability Ability to operate effectively in high-accountability manufacturing environments Advantageous GCC qualification SAP exposure Experience within globally competitive manufacturing environments Preferred Background The ideal candidate will have exposure to: Machining and CNC environments Toolroom operations Assembly manufacturing Precision or high-volume manufacturing Fabrication and engineered product environments Please Note This opportunity is best suited to candidates with a strong engineering-led manufacturing background.
