SALARY LEVEL: R211 098 per annum plus 37% in Lieu of benefits DURATION: 3 Year contract REQUIREMENTS: National Diploma N6 or any relevant qualification in Hairdressing. Must be a qualified Artisan Minimum of 5 years' experience in a salon, teaching experience, assessor and Moderator. Computer literacy (MS Office packages/Management Information System skill. Excellent communications in English (written and verbal). Organising, planning and administrative skills. Ability to monitor students' performances and provide feedback in an objective and professional manner. Ability to relate to the students in a professional manner and promote a conducive teaching and learning environment. Artisanship qualification in Afro, Gents and Ladies Caucasian is a requirement. Valid Driver's License. Registered with NAMB as an assessor and moderator will be an added advantage. DUTIES: Conduct theoretical/practical classes as per the qualification requirements. Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner. Assess and record the attainment of learners. Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment. Monitor the Work placement for students. Report and account for student performance in their programmes. Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning. Successful candidates will be subjected to a vetting and financial disclosure process.
