Job Summary To support the credit risk process through carrying out comprehensive and quality credit risk functions within the credit lifecycle to create shared growth within the boundaries of internal policies and external regulations for Growth Business clients. Job Description Key Accountabilities Strategy Design & Analysis Develop and implement data-driven risk strategies to enhance portfolio performance. Source, consolidate, and analyse large datasets using SAS, identifying key trends, patterns, and anomalies. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, IT, Front-End, Collections, Finance, and Risk teams. Support New Product Development through analytical input and product refinement assessments. Identify gaps in acquisition strategies and recommend improvements to optimise processes. Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation monitoring to ensure effectiveness of strategy changes. A strong foundation in quantitative analysis, statistics, or actuarial science, combined with the ability to manage projects end-to-end—from data extraction to implementation—is critical for success in this role. Management Information (MI) & Communication Produce and analyse monthly MI reports, providing clear, insight-driven commentary on key risk indicators. Identify areas of concern and develop actionable remediation plans. Continuously enhance and manage risk-based reporting metrics. Communicate insights effectively to a diverse stakeholder audience. Facilitate strategy approval and sign-off processes, ensuring alignment and awareness across the business. Work closely with operational teams to ensure strategies perform optimally. Ensure all strategies comply with credit risk policies and relevant frameworks. Customer Complaints Management Investigate and resolve escalated customer complaints efficiently and fairly. Provide clear, timely feedback on outcomes to relevant stakeholders. Manage complaints relating to both new business acquisitions and existing customers. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, Risk Management, or related field. Minimum 3 years’ experience in: Data analysis SAS (or similar statistical tools) Handling large, complex datasets Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
