You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysing performance, improving processes, and ensuring the finance function operates at a high standard within a demanding multi-company environment. The Role Monthly, quarterly, and annual Group management reporting Preparing and presenting financial reports for board packs Analysing Income Statements, Balance Sheets, supplier ageing, and cash movement Assisting with budgeting, VAT returns, month-end reporting, and audit processes Investigating discrepancies and resolving financial anomalies Supporting cost analysis initiatives and identifying cost-saving opportunities Assisting with financial administration and Group reporting processes Liaising with operations, accountants, internal IT support, and Sage Maintaining accounting policies and ensuring adherence to financial procedures Supporting management with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis requests Managing API balancing and assisting with Sage-related queries Requirements Bookkeeping Diploma from a recognised institution Minimum 5 years’ relevant finance experience Strong multi-company finance exposure Retail industry experience advantageous Experience on Sage One Accounting and Sage Intacct Advanced MS Excel skills Exceptional attention to detail and report presentation Ability to work under pressure with multiple competing priorities Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ideal Profile This opportunity suits a highly organised, analytical finance professional who enjoys taking ownership, working with large volumes of financial data, and contributing directly to business decision-making.
