Company and Job Description: A well-established and expanding group within the fuel logistics and commercial refuelling industry is looking for an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to take ownership of the HR function across the business and its subsidiaries. This is a senior standalone HR role ideal for a strong HR generalist who enjoys operating in a dynamic environment and partnering closely with leadership to drive employee engagement, compliance, performance, and organisational growth. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to placement Draft job specifications and oversee recruitment pipelines Conduct interviews and coordinate assessments Facilitate onboarding and induction processes Performance Management & Employee Development Drive and manage performance review processes Coordinate training, development, and upskilling initiatives Manage Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions Support succession planning and employee growth strategies Employee Relations & Labour Compliance Manage disciplinary hearings, grievances, and investigations Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation Facilitate conflict resolution and employee engagement initiatives Maintain accurate employee and disciplinary records Payroll & HR Administration Oversee monthly payroll processing and payroll administration Manage leave administration, contracts, employee records, and HR reporting Liaise with finance regarding payroll reconciliations and statutory compliance HR Policies, Compliance & Organisational Culture Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures Drive Employment Equity and BBBEE initiatives Ensure HR compliance across the group Play a key role in building a positive and high-performing company culture Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related fieldHonours Degree advantageousAdditional qualifications in Labour Law, Payroll, or BBBEE advantageousMinimum 10 years practical HR experienceProven experience managing a standalone HR functionStrong payroll experience (VIP/Sage advantageous)Experience with WSP/ATR submissions and SETA engagementSound knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, and related legislation Apply now!
