Sales Manager Johannesburg Full-time In-office Company Description Our Client is a market-leading South African residential property developer, renowned for delivering large-scale housing estates and lifestyle developments across Gauteng, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to join their Johannesburg team. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a well-established brand's sales function within one of the most active and high-volume development environments in the country Primary Duties Sales & Marketing Strategy Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy for property developments. Drive lead generation, conversion and sales performance timeously. Monitor campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies to maximise sales. Operational & Team Leadership Train new employees and graduates according to the company standards. Support, mentor and train new and existing staff to perform at their optimal best. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for sales, lead management, compliance and reporting. Assist fellow colleagues in sales techniques and skill transfer. Systems & Process Improvement -Ensure that sales systems (CRM, reporting, lead management and workflows) are used correctly and updated regularly -Identify inefficiencies and continuously improve systems, processes and on-site performance. Experience 5+ years of experience as a marketing agent. 5+ years marketing management experience. Previous experience in sales is an advantage – it does not have to be in property. Proven track record of driving sales and managing high-performing teams. Experience working with CRM systems and sales pipelines – advantageous. Qualifications Grade 12 / Matric (minimum requirement) Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related field (preferred, not always essential) Proven experience in a sales or business development role (typically 5+ years) Previous experience in a supervisory, team lead, or management capacity (advantageous or required depending on seniority) Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, or similar) Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Valid driver’s licence and own transport (often required for client-facing roles) Computer literacy (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Candidate requirements A confident communicator. Highly proactive and driven. Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. A team player with experience in supporting and mentoring junior team members.
