Job Overview We are looking for a mid-level Banking & Finance Lawyer to join a specialist team support a global banking client with close-out netting analysis and repo/securities lending master agreement documentation. This role is suited to a lawyer who is confident with reviewing and analysis counterparty constitutional documents, master agreements and legal opinions. The right candidate is able to apply sound legal judgment across complex documentation and transaction scenarios. You will work closely with international stakeholders across EMEA and the US. Job Requirements 3+ years’ post-admission experience in Banking & Finance, asset management, derivatives documentation or a closely related practice area. Experience drafting, reviewing and or negotiating banking documentation, incl. derivatives, repo and or securities lending master agreements or confirmations. Strong legal analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to assess risk and make practical recommendations. A high level of accuracy, consistency and attention to detail. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced documentation-heavy environment. Understanding of close-out netting and enforceability concepts across financial markets documentation. Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively. Experience with documentation remediation, repapering or large-scale regulatory projects could be advantageous. Job Responsibilities Reviewing and analysing existing repo and securities lending master documentation to assess terms against bank policies and legal opinion requirements. This includes master agreements governed by English and New York law, such as the GMSLA, GMRA, MSLA and MRA. Undertaking due diligence and netting reviews of various forms of legal entity types across jurisdictions. Managing review workflow from initial stages to execution, ensuring matters progress efficiently and quality control requirements are met. Handling legal queries with a good degree of independence, applying sound judgment to legal interpretation, risk and escalation. Liaising with internal stakeholders including, Legal, Credit, Operations and Front Office teams to resolve documentation and netting-related issues. Drafting, negotiating and executing legal documentation, including amendment agreements, to support upgrading of legacy documentation according to industry standard and client requirements. Assisting with the continuous development of the project’s governance including the implementation of technology enablement to support the operating model. Maintaining accurate records and reporting on documentation status and project milestones. #J-18808-Ljbffr
