This role will provide 2nd & 3rd‑line escalation support, troubleshoot system issues, and manage migration and maintenance of workloads in Azure and Microsoft 365. What You'll Be Doing Provide 2nd & 3rd‑line escalation support for incidents and service requests. Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, and system health issues. Support migration and maintenance of workloads in Azure and Microsoft 365. Implement security, compliance, and identity configurations in Azure AD and M365. Participate in infrastructure upgrade and transformation projects. Document solutions, changes, and designs following OryxAlign standards. Maintain and support Windows Server / Active Directory / Group Policy, Linux, Azure AD & Microsoft 365 platforms, virtualisation platforms (VMware / Hyper‑V), on‑prem and cloud storage systems, backup platforms and DR environments. What You'll Bring Strong experience in Windows Server, AD, Group Policy. Skilled in Azure AD & Microsoft 365 administration. Hands‑on experience with VMware or Hyper‑V virtualisation. Knowledge of storage systems and backup platforms. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Minimum Qualifications Education: Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent (NQF Level 4) – essential. IT‑related tertiary qualification (e.g., Diploma or Certificate in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems) – preferred. Certifications: Microsoft Certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-102, AZ-900), CompTIA Network+ / Server+ (advantageous). VMware VCP or Hyper‑V experience beneficial, Windows Server certifications, Cisco CCNA (advantageous). Experience: 3+ years in Infrastructure / Systems Engineering within MSP or multi‑tenant environments. Experience supporting migrations, server refreshes, and cloud buildouts. Job Expectations Location: Cape Town, South Africa. Working Model: Office‑based with alignment to CET business hours. Working Hours: Standard Cape Town hours with required overlap with UK/Europe operations. On‑Call: Participation in after‑hours maintenance or incident response rotation as required.
