Job & Company Description: A forward-thinking organisation within the specialty chemicals, industrial water treatment, and engineering services industry is seeking to appoint a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the flexibility of a fully remote working environment .This opportunity is ideally suited to a CA(SA) with 23 years post-qualification experience who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business decisions through accurate reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.The appointed individual will work closely with the broader finance team and stakeholders across the business to deliver high-quality financial information while contributing to the ongoing optimisation of financial processes and controls. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting requirements Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls Support the preparation of annual financial statements and external audits Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making Job Experience & Qualifications: CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable) 23 years post-qualification experience Strong understanding of financial reporting and IFRS Experience within global/multination companies and exposure to manufacturing, chemicals, engineering, or related industries is advantageous SAP or Hyperion experience Excellent communication and organisational abilities Ability to work independently within a remote environment and manage deadlines effectively Advance your finance career within an innovative organisation that values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement while offering the flexibility of a remote working structure.
