The client is looking for a NOC Manager to work a 6 month rolling contract based in South Africa (Johannesburg). Technical Expertise Mastery in ≥1 domain (RAN/MW/IP/CN), understanding & O&M experience in ZTE RAN/MW/IP/CN product. Cross-domain fault correlation skills (e.g. tracing IP transport issues to RAN KPI degradation). E2E Process Mastery End-to-end control from FO monitoring to BO root cause analysis. Optimize incident escalation paths (e.g. P1 faults escalated to CTO in 15min). Technical Decision-Making Lead critical fault recovery (≥99.99% annual uptime). Approve high-risk change plans (e.g. core network patch upgrades). Qualifications and Requirements Mandatory: CCIE/HCIE or equivalent. Preferred: 3GPP architecture certs (e.g. 5G NR Advanced). Experience 8 years telecom O&M (3 years BO specialist + 2 years FO leadership) Resolved≥3 critical failure types: RAN: Massive MIMO beam failure CN: AMF cluster outage IP: BGP route leakage Process Knowledge Proficient in eTOM/ITL operational flows.
