Key Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and repair structural components of mechanical systems. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, arc welding), including cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components. Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment. Maintain conveyor systems, including assembly and fault detection. Work with boilers, steam systems, bearings, shafts, pipework, and valves. Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure optimal performance. Requirements Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical Fitting) Red Seal preferred. N3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Experience in a refinery, manufacturing, or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards (if applicable to food-grade processing). Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
