REQUIREMENT: - RSA ID and legal residence essential- Minimum 4 years' experience as a General Manager within a game lodge environment- Extensive experience in the South African game lodge and hospitality industry essential- Strong understanding of lodge operations, guest experience, and service excellence- Proven leadership experience managing multiple departments and large teams- Financial management experience including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cost control- Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Guest Relations operations- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills- Ability to work independently and lead by example- Own transport essential- Stable employment history preferred KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide strategic and operational leadership across all lodge departments- Drive guest satisfaction and ensure consistently high service standards- Manage departmental heads and support staff development initiatives- Oversee budgets, financial controls, and operational profitability- Monitor lodge performance and implement continuous improvement strategies- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures- Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and stock controls- Handle guest feedback and maintain the lodge's reputation for excellence- Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the property and all guest-facing operations- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence PACKAGE: - Salary Negotiable (DOE)- Private live-in accommodation provided LOCATION: Greater Addo Eastern Cape
